With the philosophy that the Classroom is a unique community, Dr. Aku-Ibe Chidimma Celestina’s professorship focuses on a combination of different learning styles and strategies relevant to the students’ prospects. A lecturer at Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, and a dedicated teacher for over 10 years, Dr. Aku-Ibe has incorporated researched-based and hands-on instructional culture to engage and stimulate students’ learning.

Dr.Aku-Ibe holds a Higher National Diploma Degree in Business Administration and Management from Federal polytechnic Nekede Owerri); Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Enugu State University of Science and Technology; a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Imo State University; Masters in  Management from Abia State University; and Ph.D. in Management from Enugu State University. She is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and also a Member of the Institute of Strategic Management.

Dr.Aku-Ibe’s research interests focus broadly on organizational and business management, with particular emphasis on systems development and transformation. In particular, her future research interests are shaped by the emerging trends in technology innovation. She has also facilitated scholarly projects on Human Resources Management, Knowledge Management, Content-Systems management, power, and diversity relations in both the business and organizational systems.

Dr. Aku-Ibe has published various articles among which are “Effect of workforce diversity management on organizations performance “, “Performance Appraisal; A management Tool for increased performance “, “Factors Affecting the Performance of Female Executives in Attainment of Organizational Goals” and others. Her papers have been featured in the International Journal of the Forum for African Women Educationalists, A Journal of School of Business and Management Technology, and ASUPNEC Journal of Empirical Research.
